UPDATE 10-31-07
Ok, last gun finished. Jango Fett blasters are at the bottom for my 7 year old son. Once again, these are not made to bring to a convention of any kind, just for fun. That's it for this year. Next year the trooper backpack or an entirely new costume. Have a great Halloween! It is finally NOT raining here in Oregon. Its been 3 years since we've had a dry night. Finally, we will not be getting soaked.
UPDATE 10-28-07
Few more pics of the kids. A set of Jangos on the way next.

Guns & Gloves
Updated with a few pics of my kids PVC blasters, and my new selection of gloves for my Stormtrooper outfit. Nothing special. Found some cheap Vader gloves that fit nicely, had great stitching and texture and added a few of those little details I like in a costume, so they are my new gloves. I know for the hardcore this is crazy, but I'm not shooting for accuracy. My costume will also be hanging in my movie room, so its those little details that have the kids jaws drop when they come in. The gloves have a nice shimmer and feel to them, so I felt like, why not? If you are going for accuracy, no, this is not the way to go. I have the original gloves as well, but wanted to try something a bit different. Ok, that's it for today. Hopefully next year I will add the backpack.

UPDATE 10-9-07
Jetpacks 2
Just added the 2nd jetpack, with pics, for my oldest son. Just need to pick up some more elastic and webbing, and another belt buckle, then these things are done. Luckily, my wife can sow.
Jetpacks
Kids picked up some sweet costumes from Target recently. Jango and Bobba Fett, which look pretty awesome for their size. Rubbies costumes are not always the best, especially the adult costumes, but their kid costumes are done fairly well, though I question their sizing method.
Anyways. There are a few shots below of a PVC built jetpack for the kids to use with their bounty hunter outfits. These were never meant to be replicas or duplicates of the actual packs worn by the infamous hunters, just something fun to wear with the costumes to give the "appearance" of a jetpack, and something to wear after Halloween as I get their spaceship (fort) ready for next summer. Anyways, its all below, there will be more later before Halloween. Das it!
UPDATE 9-16-07
Already the best time of the year is approaching. Halloween. This is where the madness sets in in preparing the old suit. After 2 years, I've still not finished the helmet completely. Slightly embarrassing.
Regardless. Hoping to still add a backpack this Halloween, then adjust and make new straps for the lower abdomen section. Word of advice. Make sure you design the straps like suspenders (crossing in the back). I neglected to do so, which makes the straps fall sometimes off the shoulders. Can be annoying the entire time your wearing the suit. I'll be picking up some webbing this week to make new ones, and any new buttons I may need. It can be a pain sometimes but worth it. I will post pics at some point with any new additions.
Update 5-27-07
Ah, really nothing new, just thought I needed to write at least something here. Since finishing this costume, I now have two new guns designed for this Halloween. I will take pictures of them soon and post them here. This Halloween (07) I plan on adding the infamous desert backpack. There seem to be about a hundred different ways to piece them together. So, once I find the right plan, I will post the process here. Thanks for stopping by!
Update 4-2-06
*added a few more pics of me and the MG-34 I'm still working on. Just a few more pieces and its done.
3-16-06
MG-34 is being constructed, almost done, but posted a few pics of its nearly finished stages down below. I know it's nowhere near Halloween, but I thought I might as well get started, and not rush a week before. This is my first attempt at this, and I had some silly problems, so I will be building another one later, but so far its been fun. More to come later.

Updated with a few more building pics, that's about it for now. Working on a home made MG-34 for this years prop, and hopefully a backpack next. Halloween is a ways away, but hey, might as well do it when you HAVE the time, unlike last year. thanks for stopping by!

What's this about?
This area of my website will be dedicated to the construction and customization of the fan made Storm Trooper armor. It will also provide links to other sites, including the 501st, to help others in the pursuit of owning one of the coolest costumes designs ever. This will not be up and running until after Halloween, so, currently there are no updates of any kind. I'm am nearing the completion of my own costume very soon.
