Hand Sewn Thigh Belt |

Oh yeah. I didn't do this, my wife did, and it works great. Heavy duty webbing, you can pick up at just about any fabric store. Sewn together with Parachute clips, and industrial snaps added in. Very secure. |

Inside Helmet |
|
Still working on this. The interior was sanded down with a very fine grit, then wet sanded, the primed, and spray painted a satin black. Probably about 3 or 4 coats. I also tore apart a construction helmet, and as you can see, temporarily placed it inside the helmet for a test fit. |

Making Templates |
|
My first prototype attempt at building an MG34 out of wood and PVC. I didn't have a camera around during the entire build, so only a few shots are available. The rifle is almost done. This was a great tutorial found on-line from Darthvaderfan. |

BOOM! gun is done!
Not really. This is several days, and agonizing hours later. It actually wasn't that difficult to put together, I just made some errors that forced me to try new things. There is still some work to do, but its almost finished |

I need more pics of the finished gun, this is the barrel, accented with window wiper blades. Here I've at least painted it with a second coat, added weathering, and details. It's hard to capture it all since its bathed in black gloss, but I hope to get some better pics up soon. |

Quick shot of one of the guns. This one had a piece of wiper blade on the top to make it different from his brothers. Cuts down on arguing. Once again, wood cut to their hand size, glued together, with particle board glued to the sides and painted with a quick and easy template to give it some character. |

Another test fit. Usually when building something like this, I have the kids run around outside, hop, skip, jump, pretend to shoot, just so I can see how it holds up under the torture, and if they can still pull off a cool shot. |

The sprikler type missile head worked really well, and I was able to incorporate it into my first backpack without a hassle. It screwed right into the top on both units. Just gives them something to do with their packs, pretend to refuel, repair, or re-arm. |

Quick Fett guns out of PVC. Had no time to try and do accurate replicas of his gun, just tried to capture the general shape of his weapon. I've never seen Fetts gun sold as a toy, so had to compromise. Still fun to build. |

Side view of the weapon. These guns and jetpacks serve two purposes. One, to just have fun and resemble Fetts weaponary. Second, I'm building a huge spaceship club house that I wanted to stock with kids "weapons". So, many of the guns/packs only resemble the originals, but were never intended to end up like them. I wanted general guns for them to use when they play "space", not just Star Wars |

A quick PVC gun in the likeness of Jango Fetts blasters. Once again, not replicas, just going for that general feel of the gun. They were fun and cheap to build. yeah, it could have been easier (and more expensive) to buy the real thing, but this was more entertaining. |
