Game Board Design

On this particular assignment, we had a choice of designing a game board, pinball machine or a labyrinth.  I chose the game board idea.  This is actually based on a 3000 year old game, played by the Egyptians that I revamped for a more futuristic approach.  I called it "Knossis 2"  The game board idea is supped up a bit, however the original pieces (pyramids and spheres) I decided to keep, so it would be consistent of the original game.  Two people sit opposite of the board and play each other in conquest of planets.  The original game was the same idea, except on a smaller scale, and it was a simple duel between two people and their armies.  The design had to use perspective and show elements of value.  I purposely left some of the edges undone, the main focus is the board itself, not the surrounding walls and exterior.  So, lots of negative space has been left.
